Our mission is to develop students’ ability to engage critically, sensitively, and holistically with business in a global context and across a wide range of industries. We are passionate about teaching. We offer face-to-face and online programmes that give students the skills they need to pursue successful careers.

Our staff bring diverse international and cultural experience to their teaching. Their teaching supports students’ learning across a wide range of topics, including:

We teach professionally accredited and academically rigorous undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. We also supervise research degrees. Our students’ learning is underpinned by the diverse, cutting-edge research of our staff.

We embed enterprise skills and research with real-world impact in courses and initiatives across the department. This ensures that our students gain the knowledge, skills, and experience to succeed in a diverse and globalised business environment.

Our expertise also includes consultancy services, specialist projects, learning programmes, and coaching activities tailored to external clients. We work with relevant professional bodies, including the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

We are a CMI HE Partner and a CIPD Approved Centre.
