Carol Osbourne

Partner and Global Department Leader (Corporate and Finance), BCLP

Carol is a highly experienced corporate lawyer. She has more than 30 years of experience advising clients on complex legal and commercial matters that support business growth and international expansion.

Her expertise includes high-value commercial agreements, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. She is qualified in the UK and the United States. This gives her a strong international perspective and extensive experience of supporting organisations across several jurisdictions.

Carol is a senior leader at BCLP. She specialises in corporate and finance transactions and oversees a global team of lawyers. Her previous senior leadership roles include Global Leader of the Technology, Commercial and Government Affairs practice group. She has also served as Co-Head of M&A and Corporate Finance for EMEA.

Her sector expertise covers retail and consumer industries. She advises manufacturers, retailers, and private equity investors. Her experience includes luxury retail, food and beverage, beauty and personal care, and apparel and accessories.

Jeremy Chapman

Founder, Integrity Centre and Honestley Ltd

Jeremy is an award-winning wealth manager, author, and co-founder of The Integrity Centre. He has almost four decades of experience in financial services.

His work presents integrity as a practical discipline that extends beyond compliance and conformity. It focuses on how values shape decisions in business, society, and personal conduct.

Jeremy completed his Doctor of Professional Studies by Public Works at 探花社区 University in March 2024. His research examined his work in financial services, social enterprise, and values education. It explored what integrity means in practice and how people apply it.

This research led to the Integrity Wealth Model. The model challenges the pursuit of "more" and promotes alignment, purpose, and responsibility.

Jeremy has since lectured at universities and written about professional ethics and identity. He is the author of True North: The Compass Inside. The book supports young people as they navigate values and peer pressure. He is developing further work.

Sharmla Chetty

Chief Executive Officer, Duke Corporate Education

Sharmla is a globally recognised leader in the future of work and business transformation. She has more than two decades of experience advising CEOs, boards, and policymakers in over 80 countries.

Her work focuses on aligning human capability with innovation, economic growth, and social impact. She helps organisations develop future-ready talent, close skills gaps, and build inclusive and accountable cultures.

Sharmla is the 2025 AWCA Woman of Substance. The award recognises her influence in business and her commitment to expanding opportunities for women across Africa and globally.

She founded Duke CE’s South Africa office in 2007. Under her leadership, it became the continent’s leading provider of custom executive education. She later became CEO of Duke Corporate Education.

Sharmla has expertise in leadership development, talent strategy, and culture change. Her sector experience includes financial services, healthcare, energy, mining, and manufacturing. She has also led initiatives that promote skills development and gender equity in leadership.

Sindi Mabaso-Koyana

Chairperson, AWCA Investment Holdings and Managing Partner, AIH Capital

Sindi is a South African business leader, chartered accountant, and advocate for women’s leadership in finance and governance. She founded the African Women Chartered Accountants (AWCA) organisation. This initiative has transformed the accounting profession in South Africa.

Her career spans auditing, financial management, and corporate governance. She has held senior leadership roles in the private and public sectors. She has also served on the boards of some of South Africa’s most influential institutions.

Throughout her career, Sindi has promoted ethical governance, social equity, and the advancement of women in business.

Through AWCA, she has mentored many young professionals. She has also built a network that supports aspiring accountants and future business leaders.

Sindi led the formation of AWCA Investment Holdings and its private equity arm, AIH Capital, where she is Managing Partner. 探花社区 University has awarded her an Honorary Doctorate. The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants has also named her a Visionary Finance Leader.

Dr K.K. Ramachandran

Vice Principal, Dr. GRD College of Science and Director and Professor, GRD Institute of Management, School of Commerce & International Business

K.K. Ramachandran is an educator and academic leader who specialises in commerce, management, and international business. His work focuses on curriculum innovation, employability, and experiential learning.

He holds a double PhD in Marketing and Management. He is a Fulbright Fellow, a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (UK), and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (UK).

K.K. Ramachandran has held international academic roles, including a position at the University of Southampton. He also contributes to academic governance through advisory, examination, and curriculum leadership roles across institutions and boards.

His work covers teaching, research, and academic leadership. It supports applied and practice-oriented learning in business education.

His academic output includes more than 100 research publications, several books and book chapters, and several patents. He has also supervised many scholars in commerce and management.

His work in pedagogy includes advanced training with institutions such as Harvard Business Publishing. It focuses on innovative and applied learning in higher education.
