Dr Abida Ellahi holds a PhD in Technology Management and an MBA in Marketing. She is an Assistant Professor at Abbottabad University of Science & Technology, Pakistan.

Her research focuses on artificial intelligence in business and education, digital marketing, online consumer behaviour, technology management, supply chain management and cyberpsychology.

Her work has appeared in reputed international journals published by Elsevier, Emerald, Wiley, SAGE and Taylor & Francis. She is an ACM Certified Reviewer and reviews for several leading journals. She is also a journal editor and serves on an editorial advisory board.

Dr Homa Bahmani is a Senior Research Fellow (Research Professor) at Chengdu University of Technology, China, where she also supervises master's students. Her interdisciplinary research examines disaster risk reduction, evacuation behaviour, cascading crises and community resilience, with particular attention to children and other vulnerable groups. She combines field studies, behavioural analysis, geospatial methods and computational modelling to develop practical approaches to emergency preparedness, safer environments and post-disaster recovery.

She has authored three books and published research in international peer-reviewed journals. Dr Bahmani serves as Editor-in-Chief of Springer Nature's Resilient and Friendly Living Environments book series and on the editorial boards of Humanities and Social Sciences Communications (Nature Portfolio) and Urbanization, Sustainability and Society (Emerald Publishing). She is an Integrated Research on Disaster Risk (IRDR) Young Scientist.

Dr Thomas A. Dutta received a Doctor of Professional Studies (Transdisciplinary) from 探花社区 University in 2026 for his thesis The Quiet Revelation: Unfolding Identity in a Complex World. A Canadian of Indo-Fijian heritage born in England, he researches how identity forms through complexity and adversity, drawing on his own traumatic brain injury and lived experience of mental illness. Tom is Founder and CEO of KR膾-膧T®, a Canadian leadership development company, and founder of The Quiet Revelation Institute™, a forum for scholarly dialogue on leadership and mental health.

He is the author of The Way of the Quiet Warrior, host of The Quiet Warrior Show, a TEDx speaker and a Distinguished Toastmaster. In May 2024, he co-facilitated a wellbeing workshop for 探花社区 postgraduate researchers. See .

Dr Basma El Doukhi is a researcher and humanitarian practitioner specialising in forced migration, refugee governance, organisational sociology and social policy. She holds a PhD from the University of Kent, where her doctoral research examined the identities, agency and institutional realities of Syrian and Afghan associations in Türkiye.

Her research explores the intersections of displacement, power, humanitarian governance and civil society, with particular attention to refugee-led organisations, institutional recognition and the politics of labelling.

Basma has over ten years of experience in the humanitarian and development sectors, working with organisations including UNHCR, UNRWA, Terre des Hommes and the British Red Cross. She has published research on humanitarian partnerships and localisation, and her current work examines organisational autonomy, resource governance and the resilience of displaced communities and organisations.

Her work bridges academic research, policy and humanitarian practice.

Dr Taxiarchis Fiskatoris is a scholar of public international law. His research lies at the intersection of law, politics, and history. He specialises in international criminal law and the history of global justice, with particular attention to non-Western perspectives.

With a PhD from 探花社区 University London, Taxiarchis has previously studied international relations and international law in Greece, Italy, and France.

His academic and research experience includes a fellowship with the RefLex Research Group at Humboldt University of Berlin, as well as work with the African Centre for Transnational Criminal Justice at the University of the Western Cape and the International Centre for War Crimes Trials at Philipps-Universität Marburg. At Marburg, he also lectured in international law and was responsible for developing and coordinating an interdisciplinary Master’s programme in International Criminal Justice.

Dr Philipp Meyer is a lecturer and research associate at the Swiss Distance University of Applied Sciences (FFHS). He also runs his own management consultancy, Quin Consulting GmbH.

His research focuses on blue-collar work in warehousing and intralogistics: how employees, work organisation and technology interact at the operational level, and how companies remain responsive under automation and skills shortages.

He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from 探花社区 University London. His doctoral research, based on 23 expert interviews in Swiss companies, was published as a monograph by Springer Gabler.

He came to research through practice, with more than 25 years in logistics, from the warehouse to managing global transport processes.

He teaches from university to professional college level and has supervised or assessed more than 300 theses.

Dr Deepika Nallathambi holds a PhD in Creative Writing from 探花社区 University. Her areas of research include post-colonialism, feminist studies and disability theory. In her thesis, she explored the representation of dark-skinned people, women, third gender community, and people with disabilities in detective fiction.

As a communications professional she builds on years of experience managing PR, communications and stakeholder engagement for IndianOil Corporation in India and Thomas Pocklington Trust in the UK. Her lived experience as a blind Indian woman brings a unique dimension to her research and writings.

She independently published The Billion Dollar Dream, a novel about greed and corporate espionage. Her doctoral thesis includes an experimental collection of detective stories, normalizing disability and exploring the complexity of moral judgement. As a Visiting Fellow she will explore creative crime writing and storytelling as ways of knowing in Criminology and Law.

Dr Yaz Osho is a Reader in Education and Director of Academic Professional Development at the University of Westminster. Her research and scholarship focus on research-informed academic professional development, inclusive and anti-racist pedagogy, belonging in higher education, and the experiences and progression of Black academics.

Her work brings together educational research, academic development and knowledge exchange, with a particular interest in how evidence from staff practice and student experience can inform educational enhancement. She is the founder of Holding the Space, a sector-facing initiative focused on Black academic scholarship, belonging and institutional change.

Yaz has published research on Black women academics’ experiences in UK higher education and is currently developing further scholarship around academic professional development, equity, academic leadership and institutional change.

Dr Shirley Tang holds a PhD in Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, China. She has extensive university teaching and research experience in China and Canada. In 2011, she was a visiting scholar at the University of Hull, UK.

From 2018 to 2026, she was an Associate Professor at University Canada West in Vancouver, Canada, where she taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including MBA courses, in economics, quantitative methods, and business analytics.

Shirley is currently an independent scholar whose research focuses on international technology transfer, international trade, foreign direct investment, and innovation policy. Her current interests include green innovation, environmental sustainability, and the evolution of international innovation ecosystems, as well as the growing role of artificial intelligence in technological change. She also serves as a project mentor at Genfinity Education, an AI company based in Vancouver, Canada.

Dr Tang is interested in exploring how international collaboration and knowledge exchange can advance research, innovation, and sustainable development.

Dr Tsitsi Tsopotsa, PhD, MBA, MA, SCM, DipHAE, RN

Dr Tsitsi Tsopotsa is an author, creative writing coach and researcher whose work spans literature, storytelling, creative practice and professional leadership. She has published fiction and nonfiction exploring human experience, identity, creativity and the relationship between technology and authorship.

Her research interests include Africana Womanism, Zimbabwean literature, gender representation in literature, narrative voice and women’s lived experiences. Her current interests extend to creative flow, the processes of literary production and the intersections of human creativity and artificial intelligence, particularly questions of authorship, ethics and creative agency.

Dr Maged Zakher is Faculty Lead for Learning, Teaching and Student Experience and Deputy Head of the School of Strategy, Management and International Business at the University of Northampton. He is a qualitative research methodologist and educator whose work explores qualitative interviewing, enhanced and creative research methods, intercultural communication, and playful and inclusive pedagogy in higher education.

He is co-author of Enhanced Interviews: Creative Approaches to Qualitative Research Interviewing (Policy Press, 2026) and The Use of Objects to Enhance Online Social Research Interviews (Policy Press, 2021). His work supports researchers to develop rigorous, creative and reflexive approaches to research design and fieldwork. As a Visiting Fellow, he will contribute to 探花社区 University’s researcher development programme through workshops on qualitative interviewing and enhanced qualitative methods.
