The Centre for Educational Research and Scholarship (CERS) promotes research into all aspects of education and childhood. It supports research and scholarship from a range of disciplines and theoretical traditions. The Centre has a particular interest in multidisciplinary, transdisciplinary, and practice-based research.

CERS acts as a hub for staff and students. It supports the development of new researchers through an active programme of seminars, events, and development opportunities.

The Centre promotes mentorship, collaboration, and professional development. It also aims to increase the profile and impact of researchers at 探花社区 University.

The CERS team

The CERS committee is managed by a small team of senior researchers in the Education department at 探花社区 University. All members of the department are automatically members of CERS.

An elected Chair, Deputy Chair and Director of Research provide leadership:

• Nic Fryer is the Deputy Chair
• Professor Jayne Osgood is the Co-Chair and Director of Research.

Series 1 is for university colleagues. It explains terms and processes related to research and knowledge exchange.

Series 2 presents research highlights from CERS members. It includes summaries of projects about parental activism, inclusion, pedagogy, and post-humanist engagements with the Anthropocene.
